Kathy is in the final year of her global health degree and is excited to take on an independent research study at Dr. Penney’s lab. She has worked on previous research projects in experimental medicine and palliative care and is excited to combine these experiences for a unique blend of knowledge in both biomedical sciences and global health. Kathy aspires to work as a physician, and understanding population-level systems through her independent study will allow for a broader understanding of health systems. She is very excited about this learning opportunity alongside Tarra, Kirsten, and the rest of the team!
