Danisha is a research assistant in the Global Food Systems and Policy Research Group. Danisha completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Psychology from Trent University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto. She has experience in academic and government research settings in various topic areas including healthy living behaviours, food and nutrition surveillance, and social determinants of health, primarily using quantitative methods. Danisha is interested in understanding how surveillance systems interact to support food systems research and supporting work on global food systems policy.
