Shivani Singh, BSc Global Health

Shivani is a professional with a keen interest in psychology and global health. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Global Health from York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. At the Global Food System and Policy Research Lab, Shivani’s research focused on conducting a scoping review of policies surrounding the mitigation of food loss and waste (FLW) interventions.

Shivani now works as a behavioural therapist for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. She will be continuing onto postgraduate studies at the University of Kent, where she will continue research into autism and therapy access using the foundational research tools and skills she gained in the Global Food System and Policy Research lab.
